I'll overwhelm 'serious fighter' Jake Paul - Joshua
The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants met personally to promote the upcoming bout.
Former two time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive disparity - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I will damage his features and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of these statements, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British rival Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."

In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.

Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, frequently receiving substantial earnings.

The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in rounds four or five and asserted he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
